James & Anne’s Wedding

I have been meaning to post up James & Anne’s Wedding but the busy times has prevented me to do so for the last few weeks. Finally I decided that no matter what I must blog it up by today. So here I am sitting down quietly 2 am in the morning screening through the photos to be posted in this blog.

I love church weddings. Church weddings are very solemn and calm yet filled with laughter and happiness. Especially when the wedding is held in one of the famous churches in Petaling Jaya, the Assumptions Church, Petaling Jaya. There are many rules and regulations a photographer needs to follow when photographing a wedding ceremony in the church and one must always try to abide to it. However, this has not stop me from capturing the moments of the couple’s most important day of their life.

Both James and Anne were a little bit anxious throughout the wedding. Probably because they were waiting for this moment for a very long time. However as the event flows, they started to relax and all the smiles were flowing in.

Thank you James & Anne, it’s been an honor to be a part of your happiest day of your life.

Enjoy.

Dominic + Elizabeth

Dominic and Elizabeth grew up in Australia since young.  They had their wedding ceremony back in Australia early March 2011. Since Dominic was born here in Malaysia, they also had in mind to have another wedding ceremony back here in Seremban, Malaysia to celebrate their love with all their Malaysian relatives and friends. In the preparation of this wedding, a lot of arrangements were done via email and long distance phone calls from Australia with the help of their relatives back here in Malaysia. It is really amazing to see how a wedding brings everyone together and help each other in the preparation.

Their wedding held here although was a simple one, still it was filled with fun, laughter and great moments.  I truly had alot of fun recording their wedding from the preparation in the morning till the dancing at night.  The wedding was truly a great blend of western culture and eastern tradition. It’s been a great honor to be able to share all the fun with them.

“My Ideal Wedding” Contest 2011 – Winners

First and foremost, I would like to thank all who have participate in the first ever “My Ideal Wedding Contest” by Jason Lee Photography

All the entries were equally good and very well thought. The judges had a hard time determining the winners. Finally, we have a verdict and we pleased to announce the following winners.

“GRAND PRIZE”  – “Actual Day Wedding Photography” Package worth RM 2,500

Winner: MS SHARON TAY

My ideal wedding goes like this……
Everyone dreams of an enchanted wedding. I do to…a beach wedding will be great.

But at the end of the day, I came to realize that what would make my wedding day perfect will be having our (my fiancé and i) family and friends from all over the world together sharing with us our joyous day.

Another thing would be a great photographer to capture all those momentous moments, facial expressions and smile that took place. It takes great skill to get just the right photographs to tell the story.

To me the photographs are important as at the end of the day, what we will be left is the cherished moments with our loved ones and pictures that capture them at that most memorable time.

The saying pictures tell a thousand words is indeed true….
