Phyllis Caring Home – Established by Madam Phyllis Nathan with the help of four churches, SFX, Fatimah, Assumption and Holy Rosary is a home for the elderly. Situated in PJ the home currently is a home to 12 old folks.
As Chinese New Year draws closer, my wife and I paid a visit to the home today, to spend some time with the folks and also to donate food and drinks to them. Despite being elderly, the folks here are still strong, healthy and mostly independant. It was a great deal of fun to spend some time with them and chit chatting with them. Here are some “Momentoz” to share with you all.

Uncle Jonathan enjoying his music from his portable radio.

Aunty Anna reading her books. According to Phyllis, Anne enjoys reading alot. There was even some generous people donated Braille books all the way from UK for Aunty Anne.

2010 has passed so quickly and we’re already now almost 1 week into 2011.
I’ve gotten into photography for almost 2 years now and to be honest, this one of the most challenging task I have faced so far. From ideas in my head to producing the images proved to very challenging. You’ve got to be on your toes all the time, moving up and down, anticipating what’s going to happen next and planning your next shot while you are shooting , all with the aim of getting the best images out of the moment. Sometimes it is very tiring and exhausting, but the best part is….when you plugged in your memory card to your PC, the joy of seeing that you’ve nailed the shots that you wanted is the greatest feeling of all.
Enough said, here are some of my favorites of 2010 (in no particular order).

Purely natural light.

I can’t get enough of this picture. Courtesy of my beloved wife’s help.

Just loved the silhouette feel

And here I am taking the opportunity to share again some of my favorite children photos of year 2010.

Year 2010 is coming to an end. And what a great year it was. Assignments has significantly increased, relatively to year 2009. It feels great to be a part of so many happily wedded couples’ life, to share one of their happiest moments and capturing those moments for them. Also, all the babies that was photographed this year, it has been a great pleasure to be able to capture parts of their growing up moments.
Here, I wish to thank all the happy couples. I wished you all great double happiness and joy and wish you all the best stepping in to your next phase of life. As for the babies, I wish for you all to the best things in life growing up.
I also would like to send my greatest gratitude to those who supported me in my assignments. Without your help, Jason Lee Photography would not have grown so steadily. Thank you.
Last but not least, to my beloved wife, you have been great! Providing great encouragements and support in my venture in photography. Love you so much!!

It seems just like yesterday I bought my first dSLR just for the fun of it and to learn something new. Who would have known, it became a fiery passion now as I venture through the photography industry.
This years bookings and assignments are relatively better than that of Year 2009. And with these opportunities that had came along the way, it makes me feel ecstatic and excited to see what is going to happen for the next few years. However, I have still a lot of things to learn, there’s still a lot of room of improvement and I can’t wait to learn more and more to improve and provide a better service to my customers.
There are a few people that I need to thank for their help for the past 2 years. First and foremost, my wife who has been the most supportive person in my life. She encouraged me to pursue my interest and passion for photography. She does not only support me morally but physically with her help in marketing and promoting my works to her friends. She is indeed a great partner in my business.
There were a few good samaritans that I had the privileage to meet along the way. Among them, the most significant person is Steven Leong, one of the Malaysia’s leading photographers, whom I learnt many things from, be it directly or indirectly. And those who help out in little little things, a big thank you to you all to.
Last but not least, I would like to thank all my clients (from wedding couples to babies) for their support as well. Without them, there would not be a Jason Lee Photography. It’s been an honor to be able to capture their life moments for them.
I leave you with some of my favorite Momentoz to date.
