Celebrating Chang Chern + Tze Min

Sometimes, it is good to take a break from assignments. It gives you the chance to practice to keep yourself on your toes. And you will be suprised on some of the results you can achieve.

Last weekend, when I was attending my cousin’s wedding. Like most people, I took the opportunity to shoot some photos for memory sake. Have a look at them.

P/S: No flash photography involved. :P Back to basic natural lighting

Best of 2010

2010 has passed so quickly and we’re already now almost 1 week into 2011.

I’ve gotten into photography for almost 2 years now and to be honest, this one of the most challenging task I have faced so far. From ideas in my head to producing the images proved to very challenging. You’ve got to be on your toes all the time, moving up and down, anticipating what’s going to happen next and planning your next shot while you are shooting , all with the aim of getting the best images out of the  moment. Sometimes it is very tiring and exhausting, but the best part is….when you plugged in your memory card to your PC, the joy of seeing that you’ve nailed the shots that you wanted is the greatest feeling of all.

Enough said, here are some of my favorites of 2010 (in no particular order).

Purely natural light.

I can’t get enough of this picture. Courtesy of my beloved wife’s help.

Just loved the silhouette feel

And here I am taking the opportunity to share again some of my favorite children photos of year 2010.

Sisters H’s Day Out at The Park

Not only that, if you add the seesion with nice and bright lighting together with some artificial light and all was just perfect.

Here are some of the best shots of the day. Enjoy! :)

Kathina Ceremony Buddhist Maha Vihara 2010

Finally I get to do some volunteer work at Buddhist Maha Vihara after being super busy for the last few months.

I was at the BMV this morning to help cover the photography for the Kathina Ceremony where devotees give offerings to the Buddhist monks. It was amazing to so many people turned up during the ceremony and it was a pleasure covering the event and to be able to capture the moments of this auspicious and meritious occasion.

Here are some of the image for the day
