MYFM 3th Birthday Bash, A Celebration for 13 Years on Air

On the 23rd July 2011, it was time for the local radio DJs, local stars and also international stars to gather in Stadium Putra, Kuala Lumpur. It was that time of the year again. The time to celebrate the birthday of the one of the most popular Radio Stations in Malaysia with the thousands of fans nationwide. Fans started flocking into the stadium around 5 pm, queing up patiently at the entrance waiting for the doors to open.

When the time is ticking near to the grand opening, you can hear the loud roar of fans everywhere around the sports complex, shouting ”open doors” in Mandarin. And when the doors were, the fans rushed in to get best place in the stadium hoping to get closer to the stars.

The whole event was spectalcular with the DJs and stars giving their best performances while the fans cheered on loudly.

Before I start babbling on about the event, I think it is better to leave it to the photos to tell you the story. Enjoy!!!

I was at the BMV this morning to help cover the photography for the Kathina Ceremony where devotees give offerings to the Buddhist monks. It was amazing to so many people turned up during the ceremony and it was a pleasure covering the event and to be able to capture the moments of this auspicious and meritious occasion.

This cultural night features Cultural Dances from various Asian communities such as Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Nepalese, Thai, Burmese, and Sri Lankan where Buddhism played an inspiring role in the development of their cultural and civilizations.”
